Superintendent's Message
Superintendent's Message
Dear Students, Parents, Employees, Board Members, and Community Members,
It is with great gratitude and humility that I write to you today as the newly appointed Interim Superintendent of Linden Unified School District for the 2026–2027 school year.
First and foremost, I want to thank the Board of Education for the confidence they have placed in me by inviting me to return and serve the district once again. To be called upon nearly fifteen years after my retirement as your superintendent is both an honor and a privilege.
Linden Unified School District has always held a special place for me. I spent nearly twenty years serving as your very proud superintendent and was fortunate to work alongside dedicated teachers, classified employees, administrators, parents, and community members who shared a common goal: providing the very best educational opportunities for our students. Returning to Linden feels very much like a homecoming.
Over the next twelve months, my commitment is simple: to provide stable, experienced leadership that supports the excellent work already taking place throughout our schools. I will work closely with the Board of Education, our employees, and our families to ensure that the district continues moving forward on the path established by district leadership and the Board. This community and its students deserve nothing less.
Thank you once again for this extraordinary opportunity. I look forward to working alongside all of you during the coming year as we continue the proud tradition of excellence that defines the Linden Unified School District.
With gratitude and respect,
Dr. Ronald J. Estes
Interim Superintendent
